Mark Seyforth continues to be an astounding inventor in his business career. Back in the late 70’s he was the Founder/CEO of the “milk shake diet” called, “Slender Now” the first ever of it’s kind. He had a vision to create and market this milk shake to those in search for an easy and fast way to lose weight. Mark Seyforth started his first company Seyforth Laboratories Inc., in 1975 and became a “pioneer in the direct sales industry.” Within a three year time period, he enrolled more than 160,000 distributors from across the country, and produced more than $100 million dollars in sales.
But after ten years of retirement, he had another plan to join forces with a company of excellence called The Right Solution Inc. Later he decided to leave to build Extreme Research in the year 2002.
Mark Seyforth has had a great impact on the direct sales industry. He has been successful at developing and implementing compensation plans, “including one of the industry giants HERBALIFE.”
In 2009 while Seyforth became sick, while laying in the bed for several weeks, he did some reflecting on the direct sales industry he loved so much. As he turned over the thoughts in the back of his mind, a few questions kept coming to the front of his mind like:
• Why was the direct industry still using the same old approach and techniques that had been used for years, seeing that they were not effective anymore, as it use to be?
